Easy to Install a LS2 LS3 Engine in a LS1 LS6 Car using the existing wire without cutting or splicing. Adapter harness allows you to extend the rear mounted camshaft position sensor connector on an LS1/LS6 harness to the front timing cover on an LS2 or LS3 engine. Ideal for use where an LS2 or LS3 engine is being used with an LS1 or LS6 wiring harness.
The 112LSA helps to bring the camshafts powerband lower in the rpm band. The lower LSA also creates a slightly rougher idle. The 228R camshaft is a very popular camshaft for customers wanting a very streetable camshaft that makes approximately 5-7 more horsepower than the 224R camshaft. Dyno testing has shown the 228R camshaft to make a solid 45-50rwhp gains. The 228R camshaft is large enough that we recommend a larger than stock stall converter in automatic cars. Tuning will also be required in both automatic & manual applications.

This camshaft in most applications will need a small converter in auto cars. This is a great camshaft for a daily driver application. With 4 degrees of overlap it has a noticeable idle, and makes great average power. This cam will make superior power to single pattern cams of the same approximate intake duration.
