Following their Virgin Classics disc of 'Mahler Movements', released in 2009, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Paavo J„rvi are now heard in a live recording of Mahler's epic Symphony No 2, 'Resurrection'.

The symphonies of Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) are milestones of symphonic music and they cleared the way for New Music. This 10 CD box features all of Mahler's symphonies which are gathered in outstanding recordings. Mahler experts such as Rafael Kubelik, Bruno Walter, Otto Klemperer and Fritz Reiner are conductors of the recordings.
